*returns and exchanges-
I put my heart and soul into my creations and I want you to love your purchase from Mountain Dove Designs. However, I will accept returns or exchanges within reason if you are not completely satisfied. I take all my own photos and try my best to give accurate description and photography of all jewelry, but if you feel something arrives differently than it was depicted on the website, please let me know. Please note. Custom orders can not be returned or exchanged.
returns or exchanges must be done within 7 days of purchase, after approval. Items can not be worn or show any damage from the purchaser. Pieces need to be returned in their original box and in their original condition. I can discuss exchange options with you or offer a refund (minus any shipping fees). Customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.
- sizing with rings can be tricky, depending on varying thicknesses of bands. Most of my rings can not be resized. If you have questions about ring sizing, please contact me for assistance. Please be as certain as you can about your ring or bracelet size before ordering.
- Items can not be returned for customer errors on sizing ( not sure about this one yet, still thinking about if I want to include it or not)
- custom designs can not be returned or exchanged.
shipping
-i ship all purchases USPS priority mail. UPS/ FedEx are available upon request and I can send shipping price options. Because I live in a rural area, I generally ship orders 1-2 times a week. Items in stock are generally shipped within 3-5 days of purchase, if you need something sooner, please contact me and I will let you know if it’s possible.
-Custom orders or ‘made to order pieces’ have varying times to be made. I will give you an estimate on when I should be able to ship your customized pieces.
-international customers - please be aware before purchasing that international shipping & customs processing can often take 2-5weeks to arrive, especially during holidays. Due to covid-19, it may take even longer. Please note any VAT, import duties or taxes, and custom fees are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
*jewelry care/ cleaning-
-always take care when wearing natural stones, as they can be delicate.
-sterling silver can and will tarnish with time and wear. I sell polishing cloths on my site for basic shining and cleaning of the metal.
-to prolong the life of your jewelry and protect the gemstones, do not use harsh chemicals or jewelry cleaners on your purchase without carefully checking it’s guidelines. Generally all gemstones should not be cleaned or touched with these cleaners as they can permanently alter or damage the gemstone. Items can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints, dirt, sunscreen, other residues.
- to preserve the gemstones and maintain the best state of the jewelry, do not wear in showers, swimming pools, while washing dishes, etc.
